The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) at Narasaraopeta Engineering College (Autonomous), Narasaraopet, organized a hands-on practical training program for IV B.Tech EEE students on “MATLAB-Based Power Electronics and Simulink” from 19th to 31st August 2024. This workshop was conducted in collaboration with Power Integrated Solutions, Tirchy, and featured Mr. M. Madhan Kumar as the resource person.
The training covered the following topics:
– Simulink Library
– Design of AC and DC Functional Source Systems
– Transformer Design
– Bridge Rectifier Design
– Boost Converter Design
– Buck Converter Design
– Buck-Boost Converter Design
– Single-Phase Inverter Design
– Solar-Coupled AC Grid System Design
This program provided valuable practical experience, equipping students with the necessary skills in MATLAB and Simulink for power electronics applications.
