Robotics and Artificial intelligence are ruling the world today and their immense value is to be used in the fullest potential to explore and build various updated technologies. APSSSDC of Government of Andhra Pradesh have taken an initiative in creating a remarkable Indo European Skill Center, world class Eco-system in the fields of industrial manufacturing and robotics, collaborating with German partners.
APS European Center for Mechatronics trains the students at bachelors Engineering level, preparing them to cater to ever demanding needs of the industries. In this regard, The German Delegates Dr. Till Claudflieg and Dr. Christoph Greb and Abhiram and GunaSekhar from APSSDC visited Narasaropeta Engineering College and amazed at the NEC infra structure and appreciated the lab facilities.
They informed that APSSDC and ECM are jointly sponsoring 90% of the Course fee, offering high end robotics skills courses to the students at a very marginal cost. Real time training to supplement students with skills on advanced technologies can make them standout in global arena providing them ample opportunities in the field of Robotics.
The Vice Chairman Sri Mittapalli Chakravarthi recently visited Germany and signed an MOU with German companies. He proudly announced that NEC is one of the top 12 colleges in Andhra Pradesh selected for this programme. Also he added that 40 students will be trained in Germany in the fields of Mechatronics, Robotics and Industrial Manufacturing. He also said that selected faculty members of NEC will be imparted 4 weeks of intensive training by the German experts. EEE, ECE, and Mechanical students will be highly benefited by this programme. As a part of this programme, NEC will be equipped with 30 lakhs worth state of the art training robots by Germany and AP Govt shaping the college as World class infra-structure equipped college in AP. He concluded that the students have a great opportunity to study in German Universities with internship facilities and stipend later these students will be absorbed in those German companies.
The principal of NEC Sri M. Sreenivasa Kumar said that every year 40 students will be selected and trained internships to procure jobs in German Companies. Students will be given remote access to implement their projects on industrial robots stationed at ECM Germany.
The Secretary Sri M. Ramesh, Chairman Sri M .V. Koteswara Rao expressed their great pleasure to announce this MOU is a milestone in the history of NEC. All the HODs, Faculty and students are immensely pleased with the MOU and expressed their gratitude to the German Delegates.
