The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Narasaraopeta Engineering College, Narasaraopet, successfully organized a two-day hands-on workshop titled “Drone Design and Flight Testing” from November 8-9, 2024.
Dr. Yagya Dutta Dwivedi, Associate Professor at the Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, Hyderabad, served as the resource person for this engaging program. The event saw enthusiastic participation from diverse groups, including:
- 44 second-year Mechanical Engineering students,
- 63 final-year Mechanical Engineering students,
- 10 students from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering department,
- 10 students from the Electronics and Communication Engineering department.
This initiative provided participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in designing and testing drones, enhancing their technical skills and interest in advanced aeronautical systems.
