Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Organized Birthday Celebrations of “Father of Electrical Engineering – Michel Faraday”. Er.Y.Edukondalu Gaaru, Deputy Executive Engineer, APCPDCL, Narasaraopet Division was invited as Chief Guest on this occasion.
On the eve of Great Scientist Michel Faraday’s Birthday, Department of EEE conducted various programs like Project Expo and Technical Quiz for 3rd & 4th Year EEE Students.
Winners were awarded Momentoes along with Cash Prizes. The program was chaired by Principal Dr.Srinivas Kumar and Co-chaired by Professor and HOD of EEE Department Dr.Lakshmanan.
All dignitaries appreciated the efforts taken by EEE Department to remember and celebrate such a great scientist after 2 centuries.
Chief Guest explained the importance of Faraday’s Law’s in the area of switch Gear Protection in Distribution Systems. Students got good practical exposure after his expert lecture. Management of NEC expressed their happiness and promised to encourage such events in the future to enhance students’ knowledge levels in every Department.
