Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electrical & Electronic Engineering are the five specialisations in the stream of B.Tech. Narasaraopeta Engineering College provides approximately 960 seats for the B.Tech programs.
The admission criteria for the applicants of B.Tech are:
• Passed HSC (10+2) examination from a Government recognised board
• Physics and Mathematics should be major subjects in HSC
• Minimum aggregate marks in HSC should be 50%
• Candidates have to appear in AP-EAMCET
PG level
Computer Science & Engineering, Digital Electronics & Communication System, Power Electronics & Electrical Drives, Power & Industrial Drives, Structural Engineering, Digital Systems & Computer Electronics, Thermal Engineering, and Machine Design are the eight major courses in M.Tech offered by Narasaraopeta Engineering College. The total number of seats for the M.Tech students is approximately 180.
The admission criteria for the M.Tech Applicants are:
• B.E/ B.Tech degree in concerned discipline from a Government recognised university
• 50% aggregate marks in Degree level
• Candidates have to appear in GATE or AP PGCET. Selection is based on GATE or AP PGCET score.
MCA & MBA
In addition to the above-mentioned courses, Narasaraopeta Engineering College, one of the best autonomous colleges of AP, offers admission to a two-year full-time post-graduate program in MBA and three-year program in MCA. The college started their MBA course in 2006 with the total intake of 120 students, which is now been increased to 240 seats. The total student intake for the MCA course is 120.
The admission criteria for the applicants of the MBA & MCA courses are:
• For MBA, the applicants should have passed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• For MCA, the applicants should have a degree either in B.Sc. or BCA.
