R24 – 1st Board of Studies (BoS) – Minutes of the Meeting
As per the guidelines of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the instructions from the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) and instructions from the affiliated University, JNTUK, the Board of Studies (BoS) has conducted 1st online meeting on 03-10-2024, to frame the Course Structure and Syllabi for the R24 – I MCA ( I& II Semesters).

At the outset, the Chairperson welcomed the members to the R24 1st meeting of BOS and placed the agenda for deliberations.
The minutes of the meeting are summarized as follows:
- BOS chairman Welcomed all the BOS members attended.
- Institute Vision, Mission statement, Department Vision, Mission statements, PEOs, and PSOs were presented to all the members. All the members checked and concluded that the Department Vision, Mission statements are in line with Institute Vision and Mission.
- I year I semester and I year II semester Course structure is reviewed and accepted.
- University Nominee has suggested to include Storage Classes, Dynamic Memory Allocation Function concepts in Data Structures course.
- External subject expert suggested to add more Reference books in the Data Warehouse and Data Mining course and Network Security and Cyber Security courses.
- In Operating Systems and Linux Lab Experiments, the 4th experiment is not mentioned clearly, suggested to replace ‘the value of’ to ‘ncr value’
- Industry Member has suggested to include JAVA FX GUI in OOPS through JAVA courses and incorporated.
- Alumni Member has suggested to opt the latest industry related technologies as the MOOCs course.
- University Nominee and External subject expert reviewed and accepted the R24 regulations, Course Structure and Syllabus.
Finally, BoS chairman has thanked all the members and concluded the meeting.

MINUTES OF BOS MEETING HELD ON 23-07-2019
1. Devops has been included in the V semester as suggested by BOS members.
2. Means Ends analysis has been removed from the Artificial intelligence & Machine learning course as suggested by BOS.
3. Frameworks lab Title has been changed to Frameworks & DevOps Lab.
4. Web technologies Title has been changed to Web development & Digital Marketing. Included Social Media Marketing.
5. As suggested by BOS Members C&DS Course has been modified – including Binary Tree, and BST Operations.
6. Included LATEX IT Workshop Lab.
7. DBMS syllabus has been modified as suggested by BOS Members.
8. Title of “OOPs through JAVA” changed to OOP. The title of Web technologies has been changed to Web Development & Digital Marketing.
9. Bos Members suggested a few modifications in In DBMS Lab.
10. AS suggested by BOS, In OOPS Lab – 12,13,17,18 exercises removed and JDBC Programs added.
11. Unix theory and Lab Title has been changed to Linux Theory and Linux Lab.
12. As suggested by BOS, a few modifications are made in IT Lab week.
13. Few changes are suggested in the Linux lab exercises and they are implemented.
