NEC designs its MBA course to impartleadership studies immersed in real-world challenges. The course provides qualitative management education and promotes entrepreneurial zeal in its students. The two-year period is one of intense personal and professional transformation that prepares students for tackling problems in any functional area anywhere in the world.
The intake volume of the department was 120 when it started, and now is doubled to 240.The department currently employs one professor, one associate professor, and ten assistant professors.
The department sends students to several interesting intercollegiate management events that encourage leadership and entrepreneurship.
The students of MBA in turn are helpingto groom NEC, which is also the first engineering college in the region of Palnadu (AP),into the nerve centreof global technological innovations in southern India.
The following are the goals of the MBA department:
- To transform students into leaders and entrepreneurs
- To use MBA knowledge in building and managingstate-of-the-art laboratories and upcoming centres of excellence in the college
To establish a world-class library in the department, with international and national journals and books dedicated to business administration and entrepreneurship
