On the occasion of the birth anniversary of India’s most prominent engineer, Sir Mokshagundam Vishweshvaraya, Narasaraopeta Engineering College (Autonomous), Narasaraopet, enthusiastically celebrates Engineers’ Day on September 15th each year in remembrance of his remarkable contributions to the engineering field. This year, the event was graced by our esteemed chief guest, T. Sita Rama Kumar, Assistant General Manager of BSNL, Guntur.
The chief guest was felicitated by Honourable Secretary Sri M. Ramesh Babu Garu, Chairman Sri M.V. Koteswara Rao Garu, Principal Dr. S. Venkateswarlu Garu, Vice Principal Dr. D. Suneel Garu, and Head of the Civil Department Dr. P. Naga Sowjanya Garu. The seminar hall was filled with heads of departments and their staff members for this special occasion.
In his address to the students, T. Sita Rama Kumar delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the importance of honesty, confidence, effort, and leadership skills for the next generation of engineers, particularly civil engineers, to excel in their careers.
Principal Dr. S. Venkateswarlu Garu also addressed the students, urging them to follow in the footsteps of Dr. M. Visvesvaraya by being confident in their mission and continuously sharpening their skills to meet global industry demands.
HOD of Civil Engineering, Dr. P. Naga Sowjanya Garu, encouraged the students to strive for excellence, not just in technical skills, but also in cultivating the personal qualities that define great engineers.
