On September 5th, 2024, Narasaraopet Engineering College (NEC) celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm and reverence. This annual event, held in honor of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s birth anniversary, recognizes the tireless efforts and dedication of our esteemed faculty members in shaping the future of students.
The celebrations took place in the NEC Seminar Hall, beginning with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony led by Principal Dr. S. Venkateswarlu, along with Principal NIT Hari Krishna Prasad, Principal NIPS Dr. Suresh, and Vice Principal Dr. D. Suneel. In his inspiring address, the Principal emphasized the pivotal role that teachers play in both academic success and the holistic development of students.
A key highlight of the event was a special felicitation ceremony, where faculty members were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the college. V. Mahesh, Controller of Examinations, was honored for his 27 years of dedicated service to NEC. Awards and certificates were also presented to teachers for their excellence in academic and extracurricular achievements.
