A Do It Yourself (DIY) program was conducted for the students in the name of ‘Atal Tinkering Day’. The event was organized on the occasion of Children’s Day by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Narasaraopet Engineering College, Zilla Parishad High School, Shankarabharathipuram.
On this occasion, the principal of the college Dr. M. Srinivasa Kumar addressed the attendees. He called Atal Innovation Mission, a Government of India initiative for Mentoring with the Institution’s Innovation Council, Zilla Parishad High School.
The Innovation Council Convener and Professor Dr. S. V. N Srinivasu of the Computer Science Department said that as part of Atal Tinkering Day, Atal Tinkering Lab provided awareness and practical training in the innovation of Real Time Home Automation System, Automatic Plant Irrigation System, IOT Based Bell Maintenance System, and IOT Based Security System to boys and girls.
The headmaster of Zilla Parishad High School in Shankarabharathipuram, Mr. B.V.A.L. Prasad, expressed his appreciation to Mr. Mittapalli Venkata Koteswara Rao, the college’s chairman, for his cooperation in this matter.
Dr. AV Nageswara Rao served as the program’s mentor. Professors from the ECE department, SK. Zubeer Basha served as the program’s assistant professor, and B. Koteswara Rao, a senior lab technician, served as the program’s trainer for both boys and girls.
